    In June 2011, Highland Property Development LLC closed on the acquisition of Red Oak Apartments in Red Oak, Texas. Such property comprises 116 family units that were originally constructed in three separate phases between 1978 and 1982 utilizing USDA financing. The City of Red Oak is now a thriving suburb of Dallas and the property is situated within the heart of the City's Main Street within a City-designated 20/20 Vision Plan that has undergone significant revitalization. Red Oak Apartments represents Highland first acquisition outside the State of California and the Company was proud to have worked with the City of Red Oak to substantially transform the property into what the Texas USDA Office recently referred to as the best looking USDA property in the State.
